We were seeded 6th in division 1 with a seed time of 18.11. The team consisted of: Blitz, Kuri, Luckii, Snowy, Tilly and Trumpet. It is was always going to be a difficult day as the other teams seed times were all under 18 seconds!

First race and we were up against Dream Team Supreme seeded 1st (17.54). We won the first leg losing the next three, 1-3 with a best time of 18.86 against Dream Team Supreme’s of 17.75.

The next race was against the Hampshire Harriers, seeded 3rd (17.73). We lost 0-3 with a best time of 20.44 against the Hampshire Harriers’ 18.24.

Our final race of the morning was against Power Paws Premier seeded 2nd (17.72). We won the first leg with what turned out to be our fastest time of the day 18.63, lost the next two but pulled it back to win the next two, 3-2.

After the break we were racing Mad Mutts seeded 4th (17.81). We won the first two legs and then lost the next 3, 2-3, with a best time of 18.82 against the Mad Mutts’ of 18.72.

The final race of the day was against our very own Zingers seeded 5th (17.86). We lost the first leg, winning the next, then losing the next two, 1-3.

We were pleased to come in 5th having been seeded 6th and against teams which had run sub 18 seconds in the past.

Dog of the month for December & January

Congratulations to

Hex (and Pearl)

Hex will be 18 months on Monday and has been in training since puppyhood. Pearl has worked really hard with him, ensuring he has a safe and good box turn and his confidence to work away from her. He does lovely ball to tug runs now in a full open team and we are looking forward to the racing season.

Toby (and Alan)

Toby is a rescue boy and has been in training for over a year, he's had his challenges over the months, something that Alan and Toby have been working hard together on. He has recently started doing some really nice 4 foot chute turns and is looking really promising with his progress.
